NFL game in China? Yes, says Hong Kong-born LA Chargers star who loves dim sum
Chargers kicker and Liverpool fan Cameron Dicker, who wears No 11 in nod to Mo Salah, loved ‘perfect’ childhood in Shanghai, playing soccer

Cameron Dicker may be the man of the moment in American football, but he was made partly in China, and has said he would welcome revisiting his roots by taking an NFL match there.
Born in Hong Kong and raised in Shanghai, Dicker, of the Los Angeles Chargers, last week became the most accurate kicker in NFL history among those to have attempted 100 field goals.
And this week, he landed the latest of his attempts to beat the Denver Broncos on the last play, giving the Chargers their first 3-0 start in 23 years and himself a 94.2 per cent conversion rate, far ahead of second-placed Justin Tucker’s 89.1.
But “Dicker the Kicker” has not forgotten his Chinese backstory, nor his first love, acquired there: soccer. The 25-year-old supports Liverpool and even wears No 11 in homage to Mohamed Salah.

Speaking exclusively to the Post, Dicker said it would be “very cool” to stage an NFL match in Hong Kong or mainland China.
