If Wednesday was the hors d’oeuvres, then Thursday is definitely the appetiser. Some appealing little morsels to keep you sated, but not enough to banish the hunger.

Day four of the National Games, like smells wafting from a kitchen, promises much, and for Hong Kong, maybe, just maybe, some gold will emerge at the end of it.

Rugby, swimming, golf, tennis, climbing, eventing: there’s enough happening to make a sporting gourmand’s mouth water.
