Hong Kong’s young fencers continued their strong streak at FIE Junior and Cadet World Cups, with foil fencer Harris Ho Shing-him claiming gold in Madrid and female foil fencer Fan Bo-yee winning silver in Tbilisi, Georgia.

The team at the FIE Junior and Cadet Épée World Cup in Bahrain, however, failed to improve on their earlier success of four medals, with only Kenton Hsu Hong-zhan and Curtis Chui Kai-chit making it as far as the quarter-finals in the junior men’s épée on Friday.

All of Hong Kong’s seven competitors at the tournament in Madrid made it out of the group stage.
