ONE Friday Fights 126 is one of the promotion’s tentpole events, stacked with elite talent and championship implications across multiple divisions.
Featherweight Muay Thai king Tawanchai PK Saenchai steps into kickboxing against China’s Liu Mengyang as he looks to rebound from a loss to interim champion Masaaki Noiri.
That result set up a unification bout with Superbon Singha Mawynn at ONE 173, adding extra intrigue to Friday’s clash.
Bantamweight Muay Thai champion Nabil Anane is also on the bill, making his kickboxing debut against former divisional ruler Elias Innahachi.
And, amid all that star power, the presence of Seksan Or Kwanmuang brings a unique flavour. The 35-year-old is a cult hero who has carved out a place at 140lbs, a weight he insists on fighting at even though there is no official belt for the class.


Every outing for Seksan is at that catchweight, purely on his terms, which speaks volumes about the respect he commands in the sport.
Since his last appearance in June, Seksan has been giving back to his community.
He revealed that he auctioned his fight shorts and gloves to fund education for underprivileged children.
“I took my family for a trip, then I had the chance to do a small auction for my shorts and gloves that I used in fights,” he told the Post. “I used the money for education for kids, about 43 children. That’s something I’m proud of.”
Now Seksan returns to Lumpinee Stadium to face Suablack Tor Pran49, who snapped a three-fight losing streak with a recent kickboxing victory. Seksan expects his opponent to approach the bout with caution.
“I think he knows my style. I’m aggressive, I walk forward,” he said. “He will wait for counter-attacks, be more defensive, and use his punches, kicks and that spinning back kick he’s shown before. I have to be careful.”
Seksan believes Suablack’s regained confidence will make for a compelling fight.
“He has his confidence back, and his Muay Thai skills too,” he said. “It will be very entertaining for the fans.”
The Thai veteran was unstoppable in 2023, where he racked up a remarkable record after putting together a remarkable eight-fight winning streak. But having suffered back-to-back losses in his last two outings, he said those setbacks have not changed his mindset.
“I go into every fight 100 per cent confident,” he said. “I’m not stressed because at the end of the day, it’s sport. You win or you lose. My only focus is to do my best and entertain the fans.”
Titles are not a driving force for Seksan.
“For me, the title is not very significant,” he said. “What’s important is making fans happy. That is my priority every time.”
Seksan also weighed in on one of Muay Thai’s biggest bouts, which was recently added to the Tokyo blockbuster ONE 173: Rodtang Jitmuangnon versus Nong-O Gaiyanghadao.
“It’s 50-50 because Nong-O’s conditioning looks good again,” he said. “But Rodtang is younger, very strong, and his punches and kicks are probably a little heavier. Maybe Rodtang wins, but it will be very close.”
As for fighters dreaming of a ONE Championship contract on the usual Friday fight cards, Seksan’s advice is simple: go all in.
“Your chance is here. Throw everything you’ve got,” he said. “If you see an opening for a knockout, take it. Show your motivation and focus on entertaining fans. That will give you the best chance.”
For a man who has faced the sport’s greatest names and now funds education for dozens of children, this fight is another chance to showcase his ethos.
Seksan’s mentality has already created an enduring legacy in the sport, and it’s easy to see why he is celebrated as a true fan favourite every time he makes the walk.
