Hollywood A-listers have been around the Olympics for decades, and there have been no shortage of them over the past two weeks in Paris, but how many get involved in opening or closing ceremonies.

Obviously Daniel Craig and Queen Elizabeth gave some panache to the London Games in 2012, and Rowan Atkinson’s turn as Mr Bean was a moment to remember, but Paris could top them all.

The curtain will come down on the 33rd Olympiad in the French capital on Sunday, and we are expecting a slightly more traditional affair than the divisive opening. So, with the closing ceremony around the corner, here is everything you need to know.

The event is expected to start at 9pm on Sunday in Paris, which is 3am on Monday morning, Hong Kong time. It will be held at the Stade de France, venue of the athletics and rugby sevens during the Games.
