Malaysian schoolgirl slams teacher’s rape joke in viral TikTok video

Malaysian teenager Ain Husniza Saiful Nizam has unwittingly sparked a #MeToo movement in school and beyond, after exposing a teacher’s rape joke in the classroom. The teacher allegedly joked about rape during a PE class in April at her school in Puncak Alam, outside Kuala Lumpur. The 17-year-old called out the incident in a TikTok video that has since gone viral, inspiring thousands to share their own experiences of verbal and physical harassment.
