South Korean first lady Kim Keon-hee plagiarised her master’s thesis, according to a finding conducted by Sookmyung Women’s University. Kim was accused of falsifying the dissertation submitted to the university’s graduate school of education in 1999. The Seoul-based private university launched a review in 2022 and presented the findings to Kim last December. She has until the end of January 2025 to contest the findings.
