As Japan’s wild bears continue to raise alarms, a band of newly emboldened macaque monkeys are fast becoming a headache in towns and villages in Japan’s Northern Alps. The monkeys have moved down from the mountain forests they once called home to break into homes and feast on crops in towns across northern Japan.
