Online hide-and-seek sensation game leaps off screen and into Hong Kong’s streets and businesses

A Hong Kong Threads user has posted videos of himself painting and hiding 3D-figurines across the city, drawing inspiration from the Japanese indie game “Meccha Chameleon”. The online hide-and-seek video game blew up on social media following its release in early June. Just over a week after its release, it ranks as the fifth most played game on the platform Steam, with around five million copies sold online.
