Inside an abandoned canine slaughterhouse in South Korea ahead of ban on dog meat trade

As South Korea prepares to enforce a dog meat ban in February 2027, the industry has been rapidly winding down to comply with the new law. Some canine slaughterhouses have already shut down during a three-year grace period authorities offered to the trade.
