At least 26 inmates killed in Sri Lanka in country’s worst prison riot in more than 5 years

Clashes at a Sri Lankan prison Sunday night killed 26 people, including seven guards. The fighting wounded more than 100 in the country’s worst prison riot in over five years. Officials said the violence erupted overnight between inmates from two drug gangs. Victims suffered cuts and gunshot wounds.
