Acclaimed Hong Kong veteran film producer Shi Nan-sun dies at 75

Veteran Hong Kong film producer Shi Nan-sun died on Monday evening at the Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital after suffering multiple organ failure. The celebrated filmmaker was considered one of the most influential figures of the city’s golden age of cinema. According to Film Workshop, the company she co-founded with acclaimed director Tsui Hark, Shi died peacefully, surrounded by loved ones.
