Red, white and blues: tariffs target fireworks

The Trump administration wants to put 25 per cent tariffs later this year on US$300 billion of Chinese-made goods, including fireworks. China produces 99 per cent of all consumer fireworks used in the United States annually, according to the American Pyrotechnics Association.
