Chinese autonomous driving company Pony.ai is poised to be dual-listed in Hong Kong on November 6, 2025. The company operates one of China’s largest fleet of autonomous vehicles, with over 720 self-owned robotaxis and 170 robotrucks that can handle all driving tasks within specific, pre-defined areas. The company also provides technology to car manufacturers and recently received a citywide permit to operate robotaxis in Shenzhen. In an interview with the Post, founder and CEO James Peng discusses how the company plans to continue pushing the market forward.
