Torrential rains force thousands from their homes in southwestern China

About 2,000 residents were forced to evacuate as heavy rain caused flooding and landslides in southwestern China’s Sichuan province. One of the main lines in western China, Baoji-Chengdu railway, was also affected, with 46 trains suspended from Sunday to Thursday.
