Chinese city of Meihekou sees population growth, bucking national trend

The Chinese city of Meihekou in northeast Jilin province has seen a 60 per cent population growth in recent years. That goes against the national trend of an overall drop in population. The city is reportedly attracting more people because of its favourable business and living environment.
