Humanoid traffic police robots deployed on the streets of China’s tech hub Hangzhou

Police in China’s eastern Zhejiang province have deployed 15 humanoid traffic robots to control the surge of “golden week” tourists. The robots are programmed to manage congestion and direct traffic. Equipped with an interactive navigation screen on their chest, they can also help travellers with directions.
