Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Pyongyang on Monday for his first state visit to North Korea since 2019. Xi is expected to hold talks with the country’s leader Kim Jong-un on the two-day visit. In an article published by Pyongyang’s state media, Xi was quoted as saying the combat friendship “forged in blood” and comradely bond of mutual trust between the two countries stood the test of time and the changing international landscape.
