Flight training sessions have been suspended across China amid safety inspections under way at flight schools across the country. The nationwide suspension followed the crash of a light sport aircraft into Beijing’s tallest skyscraper on Friday. A statement from the Chaoyang district government, which administers a vast commercial area in eastern Beijing, said on Saturday that the pilot was alone when the two-seater flew into the skyscraper near the East Third Ring Road. The pilot died and 13 people were injured in the incident.
