Typhoon Bavi causes ‘reverse waterfall’ phenomenon as it passes through Zhejiang province

Typhoon Bavi caused a rare phenomenon known as a “reverse waterfall” as it passed through Zhejiang province in eastern China on Saturday. Propelled by fierce wind gusts, the cascading water at the Dalongqiu waterfall on Wenzhou’s Yandang Mountain was blown upwards, defying gravity as it appeared to surge towards the sky.
