University of Macau philosopher Hans-Georg Moeller says self-profiling on social media, dating apps and LinkedIn-style resumes for job hunting can sometimes “define” who we are to the offline world. Moeller spoke with Post columnist Alex Lo about the social and political consequences of an online phenomenon where users are no longer in charge of running their profiles and instead are being shaped by them.
