US passes 100,000 coronavirus deaths as states gradually reopen for business

As of May 27, 2020, Covid-19 has killed more than 100,000 people in the US. The death toll in the country is far higher than anywhere else in the world. While businesses are gradually reopening in the country, public health experts warn there could be even more deaths.
