Dhaka animal-lovers feed stray dogs and wild monkeys amid coronavirus pandemic in Bangladesh

Students and residents in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, have started feeding stray dogs and wild monkeys that typically rely on food waste. Restaurants closed amid the pandemic, leaving the strays hungry. Bangladesh had recorded 145,483 cases and 1,847 deaths related to Covid-19 as of July 1, 2020.
