India’s coronavirus case count now third-highest in the world, but death rate remains low

India has overtaken Russia in overall coronavirus infections making it the world’s third worst-affected nation after the United States and Brazil. The country of 1.3 billion had recorded at least 719,665 cases and 20,160 deaths related to Covid-19, as of July 7, 2020.
