China’s first civil manned airship breaks into country’s growing low-altitude tourism sector

An air transportation group in China’s southern Guangxi province received the country’s first batch of self-developed civil manned airships on September 14, 2024. The AS700 tourist airship, manufactured by the state-owned Aviation Industry Corporation of China, is the latest addition to the country’s growing low-altitude economy.
