Hong Kong’s Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po announced on February 25, 2026, a raft of measures in his annual budget. They included increased tax allowances, concessions and sweeteners, as the government’s operating budget is set to pivot from a deficit to a record HK$51.3 billion surplus.
