Hong Kong authorities have charged seven individuals and two companies with 25 offences in connection with the city’s deadliest fire in recent history. The charges include manslaughter, conspiracy to defraud, money laundering, attempting to pervert the course of public justice and tax evasion. A full list of the names of the 168 victims has also been made public for the first time, more than six months after the blaze engulfed seven residential blocks at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po.
