Four years after a devastating accident during a concert by Cantopop boy band Mirror, dancer Mo Li Kai-yin has been awarded HK$6.29 million (US$802,698) in compensation. In a written judgment on Monday, the court ruled that the injuries caused him “catastrophic disabilities” and left Li dependent on full-time care. He was given the maximum compensation under various headings, including permanent total incapacity, care and attention by another person, periodic payments and medical expenses.
