Three women and two men were detained after police raided Have a Nice Stay bookshop and Greenfield Book Store.

Hong Kong police arrested five people during raids on two independent bookshops on Wednesday. The three women and two men were detained on suspicion of committing an act with seditious intent. National security police also seized books from Have a Nice Stay bookshop in Prince Edward and Greenfield Book Store in Mong Kok.
