Hikers who posed for photos in Hong Kong reservoir as spillway floodgate opened face investigation

Two hikers drew widespread criticism online after a video circulating on social media showed them climbing down to the spillway of a reservoir in Hong Kong as a floodgate was opened. Their companions appeared to be taking photos of them despite repeated warnings from bystanders. Hong Kong’s Water Supplies Department has launched an investigation.
