Hong Kong rugby Sevens a test of city's readiness to reopen after years of Covid restrictions

Hong Kong’s showpiece international sporting event, the rugby Sevens, returned on the weekend of November 4-6, 2022. Thousands of revellers cheered loudly at the first event of its kind in the city after more than three years, in what is being seen as a key test of the city’s readiness to reopen to the rest of the world after three years of crippling pandemic restrictions.
