Tickets are nearly 90 per cent sold out for the city’s premier sporting event played for the first time in the new venue

Tickets were nearly sold out for the Hong Kong Sevens rugby tournament as it opened on March 28, 2025. For the first time, the tournament is being held at the new Kai Tak Stadium in Kowloon. Fans packed the stands despite the new location, which is across the harbour away from the traditional after-party areas.
