A photograph of a man sitting on a bench along the waterfront as a massive wave hit during Super Typhoon Ragasa has gone viral online. The man in the photo, taken at the height of the typhoon on September 24, 2025, has been dubbed by some as “king of the storm”. But Post photographer Elson Li, who snapped the shot, says he hopes viewers will take away a different message from his image.
