Drumming, powerful paddling and cheers electrified Hong Kong’s shores on Friday during dragon boat races to celebrate the Tuen Ng Festival. Beaches and waterfront areas were packed with crowds just one day after the city’s highest-level black rainstorm warning was issued twice. At events in Stanley alone, 185 teams and about 4,000 athletes competed.
