Wang Fuk Court resident brings bouquet for deceased wife upon return to home razed by fire

With a bouquet of flowers in tow, Yip Ka-kui returned to his home at Wang Fuk Court months after Hong Kong’s deadliest fire in decades reduced it to ashes. The flowers were for his late wife Pak Shui-lin, who knocked on neighbours’ doors to alert them to evacuate. Her actions saved many lives, but she later died during the blaze along with 167 others.
