Asian Games 2023: Hong Kong squad flagbearers and fencing gold hopeful head to Hangzhou

Hong Kong’s Asian Games delegation departed for the mainland Chinese city of Hangzhou on the morning of September 21, 2023. The Post spoke with fencers Cheung Ka-long and Vivian Kong Man-wai, as well as Salom Yiu Kam-shing and Juanita Mok Uen-ying who will carry the city’s flag at the event. The Hong Kong, China teams that departed for the mainland so far included those which will compete in swimming, boxing, fencing, handball, skateboarding, rugby, taekwondo and wushu.
