‘I made it’: Thai preteen skateboarder gears up for Olympics debut

Vareeraya Sukasem will be among the youngest athletes competing at the Paris Olympics starting July 26, 2024. The 12-year-old Thai skateboarder secured a place at the Summer Games after qualifying in women's skateboarding in Budapest in June. Vareeraya qualified No 18 out of 22 for the women's street skateboarding event to be held in the French capital's Place de la Concorde on July 28.
