Trump ‘pardons’ Thanksgiving turkey, predicts Covid-19 vaccine coming next week

US President Donald Trump and first lady Melania on November 24, 2020, celebrated the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday by pardoning Corn, the turkey – the last time he will participate in the tradition in his term. The president also said at the event that the first Covid-19 vaccine is “coming probably starting next week”.

Trump’s White House appearance came a day after approving the formal transition process to President-elect Joe Biden.
