At least three people were killed and more than a dozen injured after Taliban militants opened fire during anti-Taliban protests in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, according to Reuters. Hundreds of people marched through the city’s main shopping area on August 18, 2021, reportedly rallying against the removal of Afghanistan’s flag.
