Tehran residents voice doubt about US President Trump’s claims of peace talks with Iran

Residents of Tehran have been voicing scepticism about US President Donald Trump’s claims that peace talks were under way with Iran. Trump announced he would postpone military strikes against the nation’s power and energy infrastructure. But a few hours after Trump made his remarks, Iran’s powerful parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said that no such talks had taken place with Washington.
