Jollibee branch collapses after 7.8-magnitude earthquake strikes the southern Philippines

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre warned of waves of up to three metres in the Philippines.

A 7.8-magnitude quake struck the southern Philippines on Monday, killing at least one person and injuring at least four others. Police said “a number of buildings” were damaged and some have collapsed, including a Jollibee restaurant in General Santos City in Sarangani province.
