China among countries to offer aid to Venezuela following massive earthquakes

Back-to-back strong earthquakes on Wednesday in Venezuela have killed at least 235 people and injured over 4,000. But experts warn the death toll could be in the thousands following the 7.2 and 7.5 magnitude quakes. Venezuela’s interim president Delcy Rodriguez has appealed for more international aid as China has joined several countries in extending help in search and recovery efforts.
