Nocino opened its first location in Tai Hang in 2022, winning over Hong Kong diners with its rustic cuisine. Now you can enjoy a taste of Switzerland on Hollywood Road at Nocino’s new location in the heart of Central.
Like its three sister branches, the new location serves up the unique cuisine of Ticino, a Swiss region of Alpine peaks influenced by Italian cuisine. Nocino’s “grotto-style” fare refers to the cliffside caves in the area used to store and age local cheeses, charcuterie and wines. The menu evolves with the seasons but favourites include Malakoff – a deep-fried cheese fondue, featuring Swiss gruyère cheese and Swiss Kirsch – as well as a braised veal shank served with saffron risotto and, of course, a family-style tiramisu.
Where: 49 Hollywood Road, Central
When: Open Monday to Sunday, 11.30am-3pm, 5-10pm
