Shut temporarily following the sudden closure of members’ club 1880 Hong Kong, fine-dining restaurant Té Bo has reopened under new management, with chef Sebastian Lorenzi still at the helm. Dishes celebrate the late summer harvest with modern European sensibilities and are served over a distinctive U-shaped chef’s bar in a flash Taikoo Shing space.

Neo-Neapolitan pizzeria Falcone has opened its second location, amid the clouds with a family-friendly space decked out in football memorabilia on The Peak. Run by chef Roberta De Sario, who was recently honoured at No 85 in the World’s Best Pizza Chef Awards 2025, the kitchen expertly churns out southern Italian pies from a Pavesi brick oven, along with the occasional pacchianella or two.

Meaning “friends” in Norwegian, Venner replaces Nordic cafe Hjem to take up the mantle of Hong Kong’s favourite spot for hygge. On the menu is Norwegian-style coffee, fresh pastries such as cinnamon buns and the signature skoleboller (school bun) alongside small dishes like the all-day breakfast plate and natural wines. Venner closes at 6pm from Sunday to Wednesday, stays open until late from Thursday to Saturday, and is closed on Mondays.
