Race Ten : (494) - CARPENTER HANDICAP - Class 2 - 1800Meters
Horse No 1 HELENE FEELING (H215) L Ferraris Near the 50 Metres brushed with LO RIDER due to both runners shifting ground.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 2 ENCOUNTERED (G236) J Orman After the event, J Orman reported that his mount did not appreciate the "Good to Firm" track conditions.
Horse No 3 MR ASCENDENCY (G227) D McDonogh After the event, D McDonogh expressed concern with his mount's action when placed under pressure over the final 200 Metres.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 4 C P BRAVE (E306) B Avdulla After the event, B Avdulla could offer no explanation for his mount's disappointing performance.

In the early stages raced keenly.
For a short distance near the 200 Metres was held up for clear running behind WINNING DRAGON.
Horse No 10 MARKWIN (J420) H Bentley From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 11 SKY HEART (J092) L Hewitson Shifted in at the start and was bumped.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 12 BUNDLE AWARD (K020) B Thompson Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 13 LO RIDER (K161) K Teetan Jumped only fairly.
Shortly after the start was steadied when crowded by MONEY CATCHER which shifted in and away from SKY HEART after being bumped by that runner.
Throughout the early and middle stages raced keenly.
Prior to declaring weighed-in the Stewards gave consideration if there were sufficient grounds for a protest/objection against HELENE FEELING due to both runners brushing near the 50 Metres.
When the Stewards were satisfied that the minor contact was due to both runners shifting ground weighed-in was declared on the numbers semaphored by the Judge.
Horse No 6 SPEED DRAGON (H380) M Chadwick Withdrawn on 7.3.25 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (left front ligament injury).
Before being allowed to race again, SPEED DRAGON will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Bundle Award was patiently ridden second last from a middle draw and showed a good turn of foot down the outside to get up in the deep stretch for a second win from five local runs. Markwin found one too good after making his run at the rear from a wide draw. He was able to build on a close sixth last start at his first 1,800m start. Helene Feeling stayed on nicely for third after a wide with cover trip travelling better than midfield from the widest draw. He's as honest as the day is long at either course. Lo Rider ran on well for fourth after a one-off trip from midfield. He's not far off a winning run. Sky Heart succumbed late for fifth after getting pressured for the front by Unbelievable 800m out. He ran with merit despite a rise in class on the back of a win. Winning Dragon was a bit flat after tracking the leader for just over half the race. He couldn't back up a pair of solid efforts in Group company. Money Catcher didn't find much when push came to shove after a one-out, one-back run. The seven-year-old is clearly beyond his better days.
