Racing Incident Report
Race Ten : (590) - ADVANCING CULTURE & SPORTS 1800M HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1800Meters
Horse No 1 ENTHRALLED (K252) B Avdulla After the event, B Avdulla stated that after settling back in the field he was obliged to make a wide run making the Home Turn and ENTHRALLED finished the race off only fairly.
He said, in his view, ENTHRALLED is better suited by being ridden through the field towards the rail as it appears to finish its races off better when ridden in this manner.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 2 WINNING GOLD (H461) J Orman Knuckled on jumping.
Horse No 3 PACKING TURBINE (J470) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 YOUNG BRILLIANT (H135) C L Chau After the race, an endoscopic examination was conducted on YOUNG BRILLIANT at the request of Trainer C H Yip.
The Veterinary Surgeon said this examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea.
Before being allowed to race again, YOUNG BRILLIANT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 6 PACKING HURRICANE (H137) K Teetan A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 7 FLYING LUCK (J339) L Ferraris Shifted in at the start and made contact with GOLD MASTER.
Bumped near the 300 Metres.
Passing the 100 Metres made contact with GOLD MASTER due to both runners shifting ground.
Over the final 50 Metres was taken out slightly by GOLD MASTER when that runner shifted out after the initial contact between the two runners.
L Ferraris was fined the sum of $7,500 for using the whip in a forehand manner forward of the saddle on a number of occasions in the Home Straight.
Horse No 8 JOY OF SPRING (H383) A Badel From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Leaving the 400 Metres was briefly held up for clear running.
Horse No 9 WINNING WING (K129) H T Mo Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 11 LIVEANDLETLIVE (K156) Y L Chung On jumping knuckled over and became unbalanced, resulting in its rider Y L Chung also becoming unbalanced.
As a result, Jockey Chung's right foot shifted in his stirrup which required him to reposition it shortly after the start.
Horse No 12 GOLD MASTER (J389) A Atzeni Bumped at the start.
Near the 1400 Metres was steadied to avoid WINNING GOLD when racing keenly.
Near the 300 Metres shifted out under pressure and made contact with FLYING LUCK.
Passing the 100 Metres made contact with FLYING LUCK due to both runners shifting ground.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 13 NORTHERN BEAST (H233) M F Poon A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 10 MASTER TRILLION (J442) K C Leung Withdrawn on 10.4.25 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (wound to left front leg).
Before being allowed to race again, MASTER TRILLION will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Winning Wing settled fourth and one off the fence from gate nine before hitting the front 250m out to score a first win at his fifth start. Early favourite Gold Master finished willingly through the middle to made it close on the wire after a patient ride three from the rear. He clearly has the tools to hold his own at this level after a second win from his past three starts in Class Four. Flying Luck ran on strongly to finish a close third after making his run two from the rear. He was able to build on a rallying fifth off the quick back up from last week over 1,600m. Post-time favourite Packing Turbine found a few too good after moving to the lead 350m out tracking the leader three wide early on from an outside draw. It was good effort carrying 14 pounds more following a win. Winning Gold made some ground for fifth after a one-off trip from midfield. It was another honest effort. Joy Of Spring wove a run late near the inside to finish next best after making his run three from the rear. It was a positive showing after lameness last month.
