Horse No 1 ATULLIBIGEAL (G173) H Bowman Bumped at the start.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 JUMBO LEGEND (G266) H Bentley From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 3 YELLOWFIN (G326) A Atzeni After the event A Atzeni stated that when FLASH CURRENT, which was racing in advance of him, made contact with the running rail near the 750 Metres his mount reacted to the contact and became unbalanced.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 5 POPE CODY (K313) J Orman From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 6 GREY CHARGER (K425) L Ferraris Raced keenly in the early stages and raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 8 FLASH CURRENT (J500) Z Purton Near the 750 Metres made contact with the running rail.
Held up making the Home Turn.
Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when positioned behind CALIFORNIA BAY.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 9 MAGNIFICENT NINE (H433) B Avdulla Near the 750 Metres was steadied to avoid YELLOWFIN.
Between the 250 Metres and the 150 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running.
Near the 150 Metres was steadied when disappointed for clear running between MORGAN SUCCESS and ATULLIBIGEAL, both of which shifted ground.
Prior to declaring weighed-in the Stewards considered if there were grounds for a protest/objection following MAGNIFICENT NINE being steadied when disappointed for clear running leaving the 150 Metres.
When the Stewards were satisfied that there were not sufficient room for MAGNIFICENT NINE to improve between MORGAN SUCCESS and ATULLIBIGEAL, they declined to lodge a protest/objection.
Horse No 10 MORGAN SUCCESS (K203) L Hewitson Approaching the winning post shifted out abruptly, resulting in its rider L Hewitson having to correct his mount as he passed the winning post.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 11 PRESTIGE RICKY (K009) C L Chau Jumped awkwardly.
Held up on the Home Turn.
Between the 400 Metres and the 250 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running.
Near the 100 Metres was then steadied when crowded between CALL ME TOPSEED and FLASH CURRENT, both of which shifted ground.
Horse No 12 ILLUMINOUS (J170) K Teetan Bumped at the start.

Morgan Success kept finding after hitting the front near the 200m following a one-off trip from better than midfield for a first win at his sixth local start. He had been building towards a win with seconds in two of his past three starts. Atullibigeal ran on well for second after a one-off trip from behind midfield. It was his best effort from nine starts this term following a downgrade. Magnificent Nine managed third but was short of room and impeded late after making his run five back and one off the fence. He doesn't know how to produce a bad run. Pope Cody came from last and widest out for fourth from gate 14. He isn't far off a winning run with fourths from wide draws in his past three starts. Withallmyfaith made good ground late for fifth after making his run second last from gate 10. It was an improved effort with a step up to 1,600m at his second local start.
