Recap by phillip woo

Wonderstar crossed over and led from gate eight and never looked back for a first local win at his 16th start. He was able to go one better after second in his last two starts. California Blitz ran on well to grab second 100m out after a one-off trip from midfield. It was his best effort from five starts. Autumn Delight stayed on well for third after a prominent run. He was able to back up a win last start at the Valley. Miracle Fighter made good ground late for fourth after a wide trip from behind midfield. He's still learning the ropes but has performed well for fourths in both outings. Lucky Archangel was doing his best work late for fifth after fading back to travel second last from the widest draw. It was another honest run over the Sha Tin 1,200m this season. Favourite Lunar Dash didn't find much when push came to shove after a speed-tracking run from gate 11. Punted late, newcomer Brownneedsfurther weakened in the straight run after getting posted three wide without cover chasing the speed in third.
