Horse No 1 CARROLL STREET (D489) P N Wong A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 2 PARENTS' LOVE (H405) Y L Chung Noted to have blood at the mouth on arrival at the Start, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race.
Bumped shortly after the start.
Near the 50 Metres was bumped by RISING PHOENIX which was shifted to the inside of SUPER STRONG KID to obtain clear running.
Horse No 3 SUPER STRONG KID (K180) Z Purton Bumped shortly after the start.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 STAR PERFORMER (K207) L Ferraris Jumped awkwardly.
Horse No 5 WATCH THIS ONE (K268) M F Poon Bumped heavily on jumping.
Near the 250 Metres was shifted to the inside of PARENTS' LOVE to continue into clear running and made contact with BEAUTY THUNDER.
Horse No 7 DR GOLDEN GENERAL (K412) J Orman Bumped at the start.
Horse No 8 OWNERS' SUNSHINE (K437) K De Melo Noted to have blood at the mouth on arrival at the Start, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race.
Shortly after the start made heavy contact with WATCH THIS ONE, resulting in OWNERS' SUNSHINE becoming unbalanced, shifting in and making heavy contact with SUPERB GUY.
Jockey K De Melo was fined the sum of $5,000 for weighing in 1 lb overweight on return to scale.
Horse No 9 FLASH STAR (K431) K C Leung K C Leung stated that over the final 300 Metres his mount hung in and proved difficult to ride.
Jockey Leung was warned in relation to using his whip on a horse that was out of contention.
Horse No 10 SUPERB GUY (K323) R Kingscote Jumped awkwardly and shortly after became unbalanced when bumped heavily by OWNERS' SUNSHINE.
Horse No 12 RISING PHOENIX (J498) B Avdulla Near the 500 Metres shifted out and made contact with the running rail.
Approaching the 50 Metres was held up for clear running behind SUPER STRONG KID.
When being shifted to the inside of SUPER STRONG KID, RISING PHOENIX made contact with PARENTS' LOVE.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 13 BEAUTY THUNDER (J299) A Badel Near the 250 Metres was bumped by WATCH THIS ONE which shifted to the inside of PARENTS' LOVE to continue into clear running.
Horse No 14 RUBY SAILING (H347) M L Yeung Jumped only fairly and then was bumped by DR GOLDEN GENERAL which shifted out.
Lay out under pressure over the final 300 Metres and proved difficult to ride out.

Super Strong Kid chased the speed in second on the grandstand side from gate 13 before hitting the lead 200m out and proving too good for a second win from three starts. Rising Phoenix ran on nicely for second after making his run on the grandstand side in midfield. He's a winner waiting to happen with seconds in back-to-back runs. Parents' Love found a couple too good after dictating the run from gate 12. He's an honest sprinter. Watch This One plugged on well for fourth after a prominent run just to the inside of the winner. It was an improved performance following a downgrade and first go over the straight 1,000m. Beauty Thunder kept on one-paced after sitting third in the run. He's not far off finding a rating bottom. Superb Guy made some ground without threatening after making his run three from the rear. It was a better effort at his second ever start. Ruby Sailing faded after a handy run in the centre of the track.
