Racing Incident Report
Race Two : (46) - PARROT HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1000Meters
Horse No 1 TOP THRONE (K116) K Teetan After the event K Teetan reported that his mount made a respiratory noise during the running of the race.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer" Horse No 2 CARROLL STREET (D489) L Hewitson Shortly after the start was bumped.
After the event L Hewitson stated that he was able to hold a more forward position in the early stages when his mount commenced well and he felt that the pace of the event was being run outside of standard time.
Horse No 3 WATCH THIS ONE (K268) L Ferraris Shortly after the start was bumped.
When giving ground approaching the 50 Metres was steadied when crowded between CARROLL STREET and LITTLE MONSTER (C L Chau) which shifted to the inside of ENJOY GOLF to obtain clear running.
C L Chau was advised to exercise more care.
After the event L Ferraris reported that his mount was able to obtain an on-pace position but gave ground from the 150 Metres when placed under pressure.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 6 DR GOLDEN GENERAL (K412) M Chadwick Shortly after the start was steadied when crowded between WATCH THIS ONE and ENJOY GOLF which shifted in and away from TOP THRONE despite the efforts of its rider.
Horse No 7 ENJOY GOLF (J222) H Bentley Shifted in and away from TOP THRONE shortly after the start and as a result was bumped and became unbalanced.
After the event H Bentley reported that his mount lay in when placed under pressure in the Home Straight.
Horse No 8 FLOWING RICHES (K293) M L Yeung Bumped at the start.

Horse No 9 LAHORE (K043) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 10 LITTLE MONSTER (K391) C L Chau When questioned regarding his riding over the concluding stages and the reason why he did not continue to improve between TOP THRONE and ENJOY GOLF C L Chau stated that after following ENJOY GOLF he was concerned that runner would shift out which would result in LITTLE MONSTER being held up for clear running.
He added approaching the 50 Metres after being briefly up behind ENJOY GOLF he elected to shift to the inside of ENJOY GOLF to continue into clear running when he was of the opinion that ENJOY GOLF had shifted out slightly.
Horse No 11 OWNERS' SUNSHINE (K437) K De Melo Shifted in at the start and was bumped.
Horse No 12 INCANTO STAR (K343) A Badel Jumped only fairly and then was bumped by OWNERS' SUNSHINE which shifted in.
Horse No 13 MR DESIRA (K411) C Y Ho H Bowman was replaced by C Y Ho (see General).
Bumped at the start.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 14 POWER SUMMIT (K044) D Probert Near the 250 Metres was eased to avoid LITTLE MONSTER (C L Chau) which shifted out to improve.
C L Chau was advised to exercise more care.

Flowing Riches had a handy run from gate seven and after taking over the lead 150m out, he kept up a good gallop for a first win at his fourth start. Mr Desira found one just too good after reaching the lead in the centre of the track 650m out from gate eight. He was able to come on from a sixth on debut in July and a win is around the corner. Lahore stayed on third best after sitting near the front from gate five. It was another honest effort over the minimum trip. Little Monster ran on nicely for fourth without threatening the first three travelling behind midfield and three off the grandstand side. It was an encouraging debut effort.
